EYFS at Billinge Chapel End

At Chapel End we have recently opened up a two year old provision in addition to our Nursery and Reception classes.

Two year old provision

We are able to accept children the term after their second birthday into our new two year old provision. The provision operates between the hours of 9am and 3pm.

We have room for ten children in our two's provision and these children are supported by two members of staff.

Children can attend for anywhere between 15 and 30 hours (full days or morning or afternoon sessions - morning sessions are 9am-12pm and afternoon sessions are 12pm - 3pm).

You can find out if you are entitled to funding here https://www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costs/free-childcare-2-year-olds-claim-benefits or here https://www.gov.uk/apply-free-childcare-if-youre-working

If you would like your child to attend for more than 15 hours you may pay to top up your child's hours at a cost of £6 per hour.

Please contact the school office on 01744 678230 or email chapelendtwos@sthelensone.org.uk for more information.

Nursery

The term after your child's third birthday, they are able to join our Nursery class and there are a number of options for you to choose from.

Universal offer - 15 hour per week

All Nursery aged children are entitled to 15 hours free childcare each week. We offer this provision as  five sessions Monday to Friday

(mornings for pre school children and afternoons for January and April starters). Our Nursery class is staffed by a teacher and a Level 3 Teaching Assistant.

30 hour funded places

If your child is eligible for a 30 hour place, they can attend between 8.40am and 3pm from Monday to Friday. They can choose to have either a packed lunch or you can pay for a school lunch.

Alternatively, you may wish to use your 30 hour funding over 2 or 3 longer days and include wrap around care (before and/or after school 7:30am-5:30pm) within this package.

With 30 hours funding we are able to accommodate flexible day options as long as days are specified in advance.
